กรุงเทพฯ – ธนาคารเพื่อการพัฒนาแห่งเอเชีย (Asian Development Bank – ADB) โดยการสนับสนุนของรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่น ได้ประกาศเปิดรับสมัคร โครงการทุนการศึกษา ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) ประจำปี 2026-2027 สำหรับนักศึกษาไทยและชาติสมาชิกกำลังพัฒนาของ ADB ที่สนใจศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาโทในสาขาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนา โดยเป็นทุนการศึกษาแบบเต็มจำนวน (Fully Funded) ครอบคลุมค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งหมดตลอดหลักสูตร
ทุน ADB-JSP เป็นโอกาสครั้งสำคัญที่นักศึกษาไทยจะได้ไปศึกษาต่อในสถาบันการศึกษาชั้นนำใน 9 ประเทศ อาทิ ญี่ปุ่น, สหรัฐอเมริกา, สิงคโปร์, นิวซีแลนด์, ฟิลิปปินส์, ฮ่องกง (จีน), อินเดีย, ปากีสถาน และรวมถึงประเทศไทย ซึ่งผู้รับทุนจะได้รับการสนับสนุนทางการเงินอย่างเต็มที่ ได้แก่ ค่าตั๋วเครื่องบินไป-กลับ, ค่าเล่าเรียนเต็มจำนวน, ค่าครองชีพรายเดือน (Stipend), ค่าที่พัก (Room), ค่าหนังสือและอุปกรณ์การเรียน, และค่าประกันสุขภาพ ซึ่งสิทธิประโยชน์เหล่านี้ช่วยให้นักศึกษาสามารถมุ่งเน้นการเรียนได้อย่างเต็มที่
นักศึกษาไทยมีสิทธิ์เต็มที่: เนื่องจากประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศสมาชิกผู้กู้ยืมของ ADB นักศึกษาไทยที่มีคุณสมบัติตรงตามเกณฑ์จึงมีสิทธิ์สมัครขอรับทุนนี้ โดยผู้สมัครจะต้องมีวุฒิปริญญาตรีและมีประสบการณ์การทำงานเต็มเวลาอย่างน้อย 2 ปีหลังเรียนจบ และมีอายุไม่เกิน 35 ปี (สำหรับกรณีทั่วไป) หรือไม่เกิน 45 ปี (สำหรับผู้บริหารหรือผู้จัดการระดับสูง) รวมถึงต้องยินดีที่จะกลับมาทำงานเพื่อพัฒนาประเทศบ้านเกิดเป็นระยะเวลาอย่างน้อย 2 ปีหลังสำเร็จการศึกษา
สาขาที่เปิดรับ: สาขาวิชาที่เปิดรับส่วนใหญ่จะเน้นด้านการพัฒนา ได้แก่ เศรษฐศาสตร์ (Economics), ธุรกิจและการจัดการ (Business and Management), วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (Science and Technology), การจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ (Natural Resource Management) และกฎหมายและนโยบายสาธารณะ (Law and Public Policy)

BANGKOK – The Asian Development Bank (ADB), with funding from the Government of Japan, has announced the opening of the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This prestigious, fully funded scholarship is designed for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries, including Thailand, to pursue Master’s degree studies in development-related fields.
The ADB-JSP is a Fully Funded Scholarship offering comprehensive financial support for the duration of the master’s program. Recipients will benefit from a robust package that covers: full tuition fees, a monthly stipend (including housing allowance), a book and instructional materials allowance, full travel costs (economy class airfare and visa expenses), and medical insurance. This support allows scholars to fully focus on their academic and research goals.
Thai Nationals are Eligible: As a borrowing member country of the ADB, Thai citizens meet the nationality requirement for this scholarship. Ideal candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree with a superior academic record and have at least two years of full-time professional work experience after graduation. Applicants must generally be 35 years old or less at the time of application (or up to 45 for senior officials/managers) and must commit to returning and working in Thailand for a minimum of two years upon completion of their studies to contribute to the country’s development.

Key Deadlines (Multiple Deadlines Apply): There is no single application deadline for the ADB-JSP. Prospective scholars must apply directly to one of the participating academic institutions and simultaneously express their interest in the ADB-JSP. Application deadlines vary significantly by university and program, but applicants are generally advised to submit their university admission applications at least six months prior to the planned start of their studies. (Available 2026-2027 intake deadlines at participating universities range from November 2025 to June 2026).
Application Process: Candidates must first secure admission to an approved Master’s program at a designated participating institution. The institution will then screen candidates and recommend a ranked list of qualified applicants to the ADB for final approval. No separate application to the ADB is required.
